Lip filler can support shape, definition, symmetry, hydration, and subtle volume with planning that respects your natural anatomy.
Lip fillers are a focused type of dermal filler used to support lip shape, border definition, balance, hydration, or volume. Most lip fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body that attracts water and can be selected in different textures depending on the goal.
At luma rejuvenation, treatment is planned around your lip anatomy, facial proportions, smile, dental support, previous filler history, and whether you want a subtle refresh or a more noticeable change.
Filler can refine the lip border, Cupid's bow, and lip structure when those details match your anatomy and goals.
Small adjustments can help balance an uneven upper or lower lip, asymmetry, or proportion between the lips and surrounding features.
Some lip filler plans focus on softer hydration, lipstick bleed lines, or support around the mouth rather than dramatic volume.
When more volume is desired, staged treatment may be recommended so the lips can settle and remain in proportion.
Your appointment begins with a consultation and facial assessment. If treatment proceeds, the skin is cleansed, the plan is reviewed, and filler is placed with a needle or cannula depending on the area and provider judgment.
Lip filler may not be appropriate if you have active infection or inflammation near the treatment area, certain allergies, a history of severe reactions, bleeding concerns, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or a goal that would be better addressed another way. Your provider will review medical history, medications, previous filler, and event timing before treatment. When appropriate, your provider may use facial ultrasound as an added planning and safety tool.
We take pain management seriously at luma, so you can feel relaxed during your appointment. We use a combination of techniques, including:

Most patients see results from six months to a year, depending on the filler used, the volume injected, and individual metabolism. Your provider can review options and timing during a consultation.
Treatment is planned around your lip shape, facial proportions, and stated goals. Conservative volumes and gradual sessions are common when patients want a subtle, balanced result.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, and temporary asymmetry can happen after lip filler. Many patients return to routine activities quickly, but it is wise to leave buffer time before photos, travel, or major events.
