Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty in Calgary
Hyaluronic acid filler placed in tiny amounts can smooth the look of a bump, help the bridge look straighter, support a subtle tip lift, or improve the appearance of symmetry; it is also called nose filler or liquid rhinoplasty.
What non-surgical rhinoplasty is
Non-surgical rhinoplasty uses hyaluronic acid filler in carefully selected points to refine the appearance of the nose. Adding small amounts can make the nose appear slimmer and straighter through light and shadow, much like contouring with makeup. It cannot make the nose smaller, but it can make it appear smaller.
The result is temporary, and this is an advanced procedure, not a “lunchtime rhinoplasty.” At luma, planning is deliberate and unhurried. We pay attention to ethnic variations and modify technique accordingly to support a harmonious result.
What nose filler can and cannot do
Drooping or under-projected tip
Filler can be discussed when a subtle lift or added definition is part of your goal.
Low or flat bridge
Adding support in selected areas can refine the bridge while keeping the overall result in proportion.
Mild asymmetry and contour changes
Assessment can include mild asymmetry or contour changes after injury or surgery.
Nose filler cannot make the nose smaller or narrower, remove a hump, help breathing, or correct a deviated septum. It is not a substitute for surgery when reduction is the goal.

Why we treat the nose differently
Variable nasal anatomy makes this an advanced procedure. Planning may include facial ultrasound before treatment to understand anatomy and earlier filler, and after injection to review placement. Your provider uses a fine needle, micro-droplet, slow technique, and the minimum amount needed for the plan. Risks are reviewed at consultation.
Previous filler, rhinoplasty, and complex cases
If you have had previous nose filler or surgical rhinoplasty, candidacy is assessed case-by-case at consultation.
Candidacy and safety
Nose filler may not be appropriate if you have active infection or inflammation near the treatment area, certain allergies, bleeding concerns, or other medical factors. Pregnancy and breastfeeding should be discussed. When appropriate, your provider may use facial ultrasound as an added planning and safety tool.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty cost
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is $989 + GST. Complex cases, meaning previous surgical rhinoplasty, are $1,249 + GST. Your consultation is complimentary. Facial ultrasound imaging before and after injection is included when it is part of your provider’s plan. Your 4–6-week review is complimentary, as is any touch-up your provider finds helpful at that visit.
